Instructions
It is best to use warm watter to dip your Rigid Wrap in. As you add pieces of the wet Rigid Wrap to the face ot the star take time to wipe away excess plaster drippings, keeping the face of the ornament smooth and clean as possible.
Cutting
1. Cut the following pieces of Rigid Wrap:
- Cut six 5" pieces
- Cut one 2" piece
- Cut one 3" piece
- Cut one 4" piece
Shaping
2. Take one of the 5" pieces, dip it in the warm water and fold it in half length wise and half again. Press it onto the surface of the paper mache star. Place it right at the base of the top point of the star's five points. Scrunch and smooth it into a round shape. Continue smoothing, making sure the surface of the Rigid Wrap shows no large folds or ridges.

3. Repeat this process to create the middle and lower sections of the Snowman's body. Though this time, use two of the 5" pieces per section, instead of just one. The middle and lower sections must be larger than the head. Place the middle section directly below the head and the lower section below that, between the star's two lower points. Make sure that none of the lower section extends over the edge of the star.
4. Next, take the 3" strip, dip it in the water, fold it in half width wise and in half again so it is long and narrow. Curl and smooth around the snowman's neck to make one arm of the scarf. Next repeat this process with the 4" piece. Place this piece with one end coming off the neck and the other end curling as if in the wind.

5. Take the last 5" piece and fold it in half width wise and half again and form into a cone-like shape. Place on top the snowman's head, making his hat. Use the small 2" piece for his nose. Press it with your fingertips to form into a tiny cone shape for his carrot nose. Place on head section and smooth. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Painting
6. Paint the entire ornament with 2 coats of white acrylic paint, allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second.
7. Next, add the tiny drop of teal to a quarter-sized pool of white paint and blend together. Paint the front and back face of the star, excluding the snowman. Leave him white. Use the background color to add some shading to the snowman. Add a few strokes on the sides of your snowman and in between his sections for contrast and shadow.
8. Paint the scarf and the brim of his hat Apple Orchard Green. Paint the top part of his hat Teal and add random Teal polka-dots on the scarf and brim of hat. Finish the hat by painting green polka-dots on top of hat.
9. Paint two branches on each side of the center section for arms and give him three buttons in Nutmeg Brown. On the head, add five tiny Nutmeg Brown dots curving upwards for a smiling mouth. Add two Sweetheart Pink cheeks, two Black eyes, and an orange nose and your own detail work and your snowman's face is done!
10. Edge your ornament in Teal, and apply a second coat if necessary. Let dry thoroughly.
11. To add sparkle place tiny dots of white glue randomly across the surface of the ornament (front and back but not on the snowman) then add glitter and hang to dry
.
