If you've gotten into the adult coloring book craze like so many others, you're going to love this project! Learn how to transform adult coloring book pages into gorgeous works of art with colored sand from ACTÍVA!
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- ACTÍVA Products' Scenic Sand in colors of your choice
- Adult coloring book (we used Just Add Color: FOLK ART by Lisa Congdon)
- Beacon brand Kids Choice Glue
- Container for mixing
- Stirring or mixing stick
- Small paintbrush
- Optional: picture frame
HOW TO MAKE ADULT COLORING BOOK SAND ART
STEP ONE: Begin by mixing Scenic Sand with glue and a small amount of water. Mix it until you get a consistency that's not too thick, but not too thin - essentially the consistency of thick paint.
STEP TWO: Using a small paintbrush, apply the sand paint to the coloring book page.
STEP THREE: Allow to dry fully. Once dry, place into a picture frame and enjoy the beautiful colors and textures of your adult coloring book sand art painting!
