Materials Needed:
- Premier Clay
- Toothpick
- Activ - Tools Clay Set
- Wooden Dowel
- Water Bowl
- Acrylic Paints
- Paint Brush
Step 1
Body
Roll an egg form out of clay.
Step 2
Eyes
Roll 2 tiny spheres of clay.
Attach them to the egg form using a small amount of water.
Poke a hole in each eye using a toothpick.
Step 3
Stinger
Insert a toothpick into the rear of the bee’s body, allowing the pointed tip to protrude outward slightly.
Step 4
Mouth
Draw, indent or add on a mouth.
Step 5
Wings
Shape 2 teardrop forms out of clay.
Attach them together using a small amount of water.
Indent a slot into the top of the bee’s body using the flat ended tool.
Insert the wings into the slot and secure them in place with a little bit of water.
Step 6
Spike
Insert the wooden dowel into the underside of the clay bee.
Step 7
Dry
Allow the clay to dry and become hard.
Step 8
Paint
Paint the sculpture using acrylic paint.
